Anyway so I just got home from a fruitful trip to the grocery store
And I bought some soup and I bought some bread and some cleaner to clean the floor
But on aisle ten there I saw a box stuck behind the Frosted Flakes
And I took it down, I was helping out, it was put there by mistake

On a closer look it was nothing I’d ever seen on a shelf before
And a sunburst tag on the front said it had everything I was looking for
And the price was right and I thought “What the hell.” It was double coupon day
And I tossed the box in the cart and I went up front, got in line to pay

I unloaded the car and the stuff that I bought covered most of my kitchen space
And I spent some time getting all that I got put away in its proper place
And the soup and the bread and flakes the cleaner are safely tucked away

So it sits on the island in my kitchen by the Rolling Stone and a coffee mug
